RESPONSE TIME AND EXECUTION
- The response officers should take no longer than thirty (30)
minutes to arrive. It is to be expected that the team may take less
than 30 minutes but consideration has to be given to unpredictable
traffic delays.
- It must be understood that response times may vary from one
event to the next based on location, time of day and weather
conditions.
- The Company will make every effort to respond to a call but
cannot be liable in the event of extreme circumstances that are
beyond reasonable control.
- The response officers may not come directly to the premises but
may stop short by a distance not exceeding 60 metres. This will
allow for a tactical and undetected approach.
- The response officers will approach, taking into consideration
the point of origin of the signal.
- Based on the briefing received, the response officers may
attempt to make contact with the customer.
- If intruders are detected, all reasonable efforts will be made
to apprehend and criminally charge such personnel.
- If circumstances permit, Response Officers may offer first aid
and transport to a medical facility for injured personnel.
